Our process

A clearer process. A more considered brand.

Building a clothing brand involves many connected decisions. Our process helps organise those decisions into a practical path based on your concept, priorities, and requirements.
  1. Stage 1

    Discovery

We learn about the founder, concept, intended customer, product category, budget considerations and goals.

Deliverable examples may include a project brief and an agreed scope.

  2. Stage 2

    Direction

We clarify the brand positioning, aesthetic direction and priorities.

Deliverable examples may include strategy notes, moodboards or a creative direction document when included in the scope.

  3. Stage 3

    Development

We work on the agreed brand identity, apparel concepts, product requirements and digital components.

    Deliverables depend on the engagement.

  4. Stage 4

    Refinement

We review the relevant work, gather feedback and make agreed revisions within the project scope.

Revision rounds are defined up front.

  5. Stage 5

    Preparation

We organise the agreed final assets and identify next steps for launch, sampling, manufacturing enquiries or e-commerce.

Assets prepared for the next stage of your brand.

  6. Stage 6

    Handover

We provide the deliverables agreed in the scope and clarify what is complete, what remains outstanding, and what requires third-party action.

A clear picture of where you stand.

Process principles

How we work with founders.

  • Clear communication
  • Defined scope
  • Thoughtful creative direction
  • Transparent expectations
  • Practical decision-making
  • Collaboration with the founder
  • Honest guidance about third-party dependencies

ImportantNot every project follows the same process or timeline. Manufacturing, sampling, supplier decisions, shipping and other external dependencies can affect the overall schedule.

Let's work out the right starting point.

Every great label begins with a first step.
